⁸ then he may have equal ^(A)portions to eat, besides what he receives from the sale of his patrimony.^[a]

Abominable Practices

⁹ “When you come into the land that the Lord your God is giving you, ^(B)you shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of those nations. ¹⁰ There shall not be found among you anyone ^(C)who burns his son or his daughter as an offering,^[b] anyone who ^(D)practices divination or ^(E)tells fortunes or interprets omens, or ^(F)a sorcerer
